Organic Ettinger Avocados

Did you know there are hundreds of Avocado varieties? Commercial agriculture has developed markets around just a few of them. As a boutique fruit packer, we get to work with some of the lesser known (but just as tasty!) varieties. Our Certified Organic Ettinger Avocado is one of the best tasting avocados we’ve had. Its large size and shiny green skin makes it a stand out on any kitchen counter. The flesh is creamy with a rich flavor, not quite as heavy in oil as a Hass avocado. The fruit is ripe when you can press on the skin and it gives to the pressure. Eat when ripe or store in the refrigerator for another 4-5 days. 

Our Ettinger Avocados are grown in our hometown of Fallbrook and take on all the best flavor characteristics of this unique variety.
