Raw Avocado Honey

Dark, Bold, Classic...Sounds like an ad for artisan roasted Coffee but this is the best description of our ever popular Avocado Honey. Bees are opportunists to the most readily available nectar source at a given time which is why we can confidently label this honey as Avocado sourced. Our Avocado honey is collected from bee hives placed in a 500 acre certified Organic Avocado grove. The Avocado trees are flowering heavily in March and April and the bees will focus most of their foraging to the trees. We collect the honey in May to ensure we are harvesting all the honey reserves derived from the bees foraging on Avocado blossoms. The result is a dark nutrient dense honey with a unique, sweet flavor. Our honey is strained through a coarse filter to remove large particles of beeswax and bee parts but not enough to take out beneficial pollen from the mixture. The result is a highly beneficial elixir to be used in many ways; Honey is an effective medicinal remedy as well as a nutritionally dense food containing antioxidants, proteins, amino acids, minerals, and organic acids.
